be fined and possibly dropped from WCSSF and your
team will be drop indefinitely from WCSSF.
We as a board will not tolerate this at all.

Standings have
been updated and are now online.
Soap Box Time

Ok, I don't do
this very often but I have been reading reports from
coaches and referees and just sitting here at my
computer shaking my head. My board & I have been striving
since 2005 with WCSSF to improve coach & referee
relations, but it seems this season already, we have
failed. We have coaches yelling at the referees
during games, getting upset and acting like complete
fools. But we have referees playing God and
getting in the faces of players and coaches and
that's unacceptable as well. I think we are
all losing focus what this game is all about....THE
KIDS!!! The kids are the ones who suffer when
we the adults act like children. The players
feed off the attitudes of the coaches and referees.
Coaches, control
your tongues and put it in the coaching report!!
If you are a referee, please don't wear your referee
gear to your games, it's very unprofessional.
Referees, please
be patient, and don't be arrogant with the players
and coaches. I don't care how many games you
have centered or what your grade is. This is
Rec Plus, not international or the world cup!!
ok, that's it for
now, I will step down now, but please don't undo all
that my board & I have fought for both coaches & referees in one
season!!!

Reminders
Thursday, April 22nd, 2010
Coaches: If
there isn't painted technical area on the fields,
then your area to stand is by your bench. Do
not wander all over the place.
Substitutions
should be using pennies and enter and exit at the
half line ONLY. Please stand 2-3 feet from the
touchline at the half line.
Standings will be
updated when all scores are turned in.
Assignors
Tuesday, April 13th, 2010
Please inform
your center referees that if they use club linesman
for games that they are not able to do anything but
call in & out. If they are licensed referees, both
coaches must agree if they can call Offside during a
game. Also, they should not be paid unless they are
in full uniform.
Reminders
Tuesday, April 13th, 2010
Just a reminder
that all teams are to adhere to the WCSSF rules of
play. All teams MUST follow the equal strength
rule, even in tourney games.
Scores have been
updated. Standings will be updated when Jesse sends
them to me. I’m missing reports from some coaches,
please remind them to get those sent in within 3
days.
Welcome Spring
Soccer!
Monday, April 12th, 2010
Spring WCSSF
soccer got underway this weekend with a few
glitches, but we are working on getting those
corrected. The website has been a little
behind due to the webmaster working full time now
(That would be me) and feeling like she has bit off
more than she can handle at times! LOL!
I think all of us in volunteer positions can share
in that feeling. I'm working on getting things
caught up this morning and will finish up later
tonight.
Standings will be
updated as games are completed. Scores will be
updated as they are turned in, usually by the end of
each day. Please make sure you look at the
schedules to make sure game times haven't been
changed and scores are correct. I enter them
manually and sometimes get the scores transposed, so
keep me on my toes please.
Open line of
communication begins with you. If you want to
be added to my email list, please send me your email
address at
caralovern@wcssf.org . Also, you may text
me at 317-432-0930 or if you are a Verizon customer,
you can call me during the week days, weekends are
free.
Remember, no
question is too stupid, only the ones that aren't
asked!
